Two-way radios are a good communication system for an investigation team. Often the investigators tend to split up and this will allow quick and clear communication to avoid searching and yelling. Technical base camp will have a radio along with each team formed to have full communication during an investigation.

A two-way radio is a radio that can both transmit and receive a signal, unlike a broadcast receiver which only receives content. It is an audio transceiver designed for bidirectional person-to-person voice communication with other users with similar radios using the same radio frequency.

Always keep in mind that a 2-way radio can interfere with AMF, K2, KIII, Tri-field meters when transmitting a signal. It will give false positive results.
